Air conditioners are electrical appliances. Air conditioner use chemicals that easily convert from a gas to a liquid and back again this chemical is used to transfer heat from the air inside of a home to the outside air. The machine has three main parts. They are compressor, a condenser and an evaporator. the compressor and condenser are usually located on the outside air portion of the air conditioner. The closer the molecules are together, the higher its energy and its temperature. The working principle of the AC is collecting hot air from a gives space and processing it to release cool air into the same space where the hot air had originally been collected.
This process is done through the five steps such as the evaporator, compressor, condenser, expansion valve, Refrigerant. simply put, the air conditioner in both a house and business is a central heating and cooling system that provides cool air through the sheet metal ductwork by providing via a process draws out the warm air inside, removing its heat which is replaced by the cooler air.
A condenser‘s functions is to allow high pressure and temperature refrigerant to condense and eject heat. There are three main types: air-cooled, evaporative, and water-cooled condensers.

TYPES OF ISSUES IN AIR CONDITIONER:
AIR CONDITIONER IS NOT TURNING ON:
We have to check our thermostat batteries when our AC is not working or turning on. Replace the batteries if they are dead. If the battery is in working condition, check the thermostat to check whether the cooling mode is on with our desired temperature.
If our thermostat is on, AC is still not turning on, check the circuit breaker. If the circuit breaker is tripped, AC won’t turn on. Then check the circuit breaker by flipping the switch off and then on the air conditioner. Usually when the outdoor unit doesn’t turn on, it is because the circuit breaker has been tripped.
If you find that the AC still does not work, the next probable cause is the thermostat. A not-responsible thermostat will fail to communicate with the rest of the central air system
AIR CONDITIONER IS NOT BLOWING OUT:
There are some of reasons for ice buildup in your AC dirty coils or filters resulting in poor airflow, or a lack of refrigerant. If that doesn’t get the unit blowing cold air again, it could be refrigerant levels are low.
The AC will not blow cold air if a dirty air filter blocks the air flow. A dirty air filter can freeze up the condenser and the cooling power of your AC. Changing the AC air filter every month will help your AC to blow cold air out side or room.
FROZEN EVAPORATOR COIL:
The evaporator coil freezes when the air conditioner does not get sufficient air for operation. The frozen evaporator coil make AC. freezes up and stop working. Blocked vents and ducts, dirty filters and faulty fan can cause insufficient airflow in the system. A clean air filter is important to maximize airflow inside.
Normally this isn’t a problem. But if something goes wrong with the cooling process, that condensation can freeze over and cause your air conditioner to break down.
ELECTRICAL CONTROL FAILURE:
When you unnecessary turn on and off your air conditioner, the fan controls and compressor can wear out. The condenser fan motor, the compressor, and the blower motor make an electrical connection to start the AC. A connection problem can prevent the motor and compressor from turning on.
You should check the electrical connections to determine the problem. Each motor will have a separate start and run capacitor. If the capacitors begin to wear down or suffer from excess voltage, they can fail and will need replacement. If you hear a clicking noise from the air conditioner cabinet, it usually means one of the capacitors is failing.
The air conditioner contains a thermostat sensor, located near the evaporator coil. The thermostat measures the air temperature in the evaporating coil and adjusts the cooling based on the condition of the room.
If it is forced out of position the air conditioner can turn on and off or cycle constantly. It should be placed near the evaporator coil without touching each other. Turn off your A/C unit and locate the condensate pan. If there is water in the drain pan, than your drain line is most likely clogged. You can use the shop vacuum to suck out the contents of the clogged drain.
